AutoLog® Serial Plug-in modules
AutoLog® Serial Plug-in modules (SP-i) can be used to convert the serial ports functionality to support special communication methods. AutoLog® Serial Plug-in modules can be connected to PLC's serial port plug-in connectors. Check from the PLC and RTU pages if the device supports AutoLog® Serial Plug-in modules. AutoLog® Serial Plug-in modules gets its power from the PLC. AutoLog® Serial Plug-in module -types:
AL RS-232/485 SP-i AutoLog® RS-232/485 SP-i converts PLC's serial port from point-to-point RS-232 to point-to-multipoint RS-485. Module doesn't need configuration. Two models, isolated and non-isolated. Order codes: AL ModbusTCP SP-i: AutoLog® ModbusTCP SP-i can be used to convert Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP. It has also RJ-45 connector. It can be programmed using PC configuration software. Using this module, the PLC can communicate through Ethernet LAN or Internet with control room SCADA software or other PLCs. Order code: AL Ethernet LAN & Web server SP-i: AutoLog® Ethernet LAN & Web Server SP-i can be used as web server, serving PLC application pages to Internet browser. It has Ethernet RJ-45 connector. It can send and receive files using FTP. It can send e.g. alarms to e-mail. It can send and receive messages using UDP/TCP.
