AutoLog® PLC & RTU -products
FF-Automation has designed and manufactured programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and remote terminal units (RTUs) since 1976. Three decades of continuous product development and close co-operation with our customers and partners can be seen in the reliability and usability of our products.
The AutoLog PLC product family is very competitive in its pricing and technical features. In recent years, product development has been focused on the remote usability and maintenance of our RTU products.
AutoLog® PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Our PLC product family includes a wide selection of PLCs with various I/O quantities and connection interfaces. These models can be used in small-machine control and in wide and complex process control. The products can be used as RTUs, when using an external modem in the serial port.
AutoLog® RTU (Remote Terminal Units)
All AutoLog PLCs can operate as RTU devices. In fact, most of these PLCs are operating as an RTU device. The AutoLog RTU device is a programmable logic controller that is specially designed to communicate with remote control rooms (SCADA), using the most suitable communication network. The RTUs are constructed to meet customers' application needs.
AutoLog® GSM-RTU
AutoLog GSM-RTU devices are briefly described as PLCs that are specially designed to communicate with SCADA (Control room), using GSM / GPRS networks. These devices combine the traditional PLC features with build-in GSM / GPRS features. GSM-RTUs can be supervised remotely using AutoLog ControlMan Internet service or Web Studio SCADA, or just GSM phone. GSM-RTUs are remotely maintainable.
AutoLog® TETRA-RTU
AutoLog TETRA-RTU devices are briefly described as PLCs that are specially designed to communicate with SCADA (Control room), using TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked Radio) network. Typical TETRA customers are big oil and gas-, electrical-, environmental-, and transportation companies, and public safety and security users etc. 
Control room, SCADA systems
FF-Automation offers control room SCADA units for all its AutoLog products. FF-Automation is the only distributor of Web Studio (SCADA) in Finland and Russian areas. Our own experience and partners' feedback from Web Studio has been very positive. The offers cost effective and easy-to-use AutoLog ControlMan Internet control room service for AutoLog GSM-RTUs supervision and control.
Web Studio, SCADA, control room software
Web Studio is very modern, multi-featured, and cost-effective SCADA software. The same development environment can be used to create applications for Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server PCs ,and also for Windows CE touch-screen displays.
One mouse click, and applications can be converted to fully-compatible with Internet. More than 200 device drivers are included without additional cost. There is a communication driver for AutoLog GSM-RTUs. FF-Automation provides education for system integrators at a low price.
AutoLog® ControlMan, Internet control room service
AutoLog ControlMan is the Internet / intranet control room service for remote target supervision. It is fully maintained by the system supplier. Server PC, or software or hardware installations are not needed from the customer.
Each customer just opens an Internet browser, and logs in the AutoLog ControlMan Web pages to see the status of their remote target applications – from any PC connected to the Internet. AutoLog ControlMan is a specially designed supervision systen for GSM-RTUs.
AutoLog® HMI, local displays
The AutoLog HMI family offers the right HMI product for a wide range of user applications. Small character-based HMIs can be used to read or write application parameters. Open Windows CE Graphical touch screen HMI displays bring the modern control room SCADA features to local HMIs. These are cost effective systems – ask for our best offer!
AutoLog® Accessories
The AutoLog product family has connections for versatile accessory devices that give enhanced features to our products. AutoLog serial plug-in modules convert a PLC’s serial port to support special communication protocols and medias. AutoLog wireless I/O modules can be used with PLCs to communicate with wireless I/O.
